GRIND Vol.106 "UNEXPECTED"

Based on street culture, GRIND disseminates content that involves fashion, music, and art. Fashion visuals, interviews with creators such as designers and artists, columns, etc., are summarized in one volume. We will deliver a magazine for people who love street, people involved in creative work, or people who are interested in such scenes. From the perspective of the street, it is our mission to delve into people's styles, thoughts and minds and inspire those who pick them up.

Under the theme of "Unexpected", this issue explores hints from the street to catch things that exceed the scope of one's expectations and things that protrude from frames and categories. There should be an original style beyond the framework that you decide on your own, or the correct answer that someone taught you.

Fashion visuals include the stories of Carhartt WIP, Goldwin, Veilance, OAO, CE, PALMES, and OTTO 958, starting with the collaboration of Paul Smith + Pop Trading Company. From traditional brands to up-and-coming brands, the visuals that strongly reflect their respective styles are vibrant.

The interview features Mark Reeder, a legend in the techno scene from Berlin, Germany, who is still active in the competition. From New York, we would like to introduce Nolan Zangas, a photographer and filmmaker who is only 24 years old and has worked with many big brands, along with his work. Taro Motoda, a creative director from Japan whose work with Goldwin 0 and Nike has attracted attention around the world, will also make an appearance.

In addition, you can enjoy encounters with "unexpected things" from various angles and perspectives, such as the works of photographers Joshua Gordon and Nils Junji, and a column by Theophilos Constantinou.
